let’s go to the beach, each, let’s go get a wave; they say, what they gonna say?

we shall scream and shout and let it all out.
I, HAVE OFFICIALLY FINISHED FIRST SEMESTER OF THE FIRST YEAR IN UNIVERSITY!
(of course with many others as well; yes, this is important.)

and cheerios to this buddy coursemate of mine from Cameron Highlands.
:3
Nazreen aka. Nana Khurizan.
i cannot tell you how hilarious he is with his height and Bieber flips.
and i don't really care if those things aren't related to his humour.
:P

a few coursemates came together and planned a trip together to Langkawi right after our finals.
and the day finally arrived and i was extremely stoked because this is my first time travelling with a group of friends.
:D

traveled via Air Asia as it was quite cheap at this time of the year and after like half an hour, we have reached the humble island of Langkawi.
who knows the last time i was here, i was like 10?

mandatory arrival group selfie.
:D
the sea view was just breathless.

another mandatory tourist selfie.
and since there were 8 of us, we each took one letter and posed.
:P

and this was the place that hosted us for the 2 nights.
located very deep within a secluded place.

but GREAT facilities.
they had a rain shower with WARM water!
:DD

first night was the stay-in-room-and-chill.
drinks: Coke with Malibu.
games: we played so many and drank as much.

excited for day 2 because it was our tour day within Langkawi's famous places.
all dressed-up almost like a Japanese tourist.
tee by my aunt for Christmas.
:)

first stop was the Langkawi Underwater World.
i wasn't really sure if i had already been here before but i remembered penguins.
THAT was all i remembered.
but, t'was a good way around the large place.

first was the bird area.
pink flamingos.
and the one on the right was the snapping turtle with his mouth open.

and the adorable monkey that has a human face.
so tiny i had to zoom in.
but the S2 captured it nicely.
:))

then the north pole section with the seals and penguins.

this pair were like huddling up against each other with the one on the right putting its fin on the other one like a best pal would do.

and then they just turned their backs on us.
>:/
how rude.
xD

the rock-hopper penguins.

you know how we humans work out in the gym with a sea view?
well this one works out to the human view.
it was just flipping on the same spot the whole time.

we were in time for both sides' feeding time where penguins were seen swallowing fishes fed by the workers.
and if any penguin doesn't want to eat, well, harsh actions were taken for their own good.
and by that, i mean stuffing the fishes into their beaks.

moving on to the Marine section:

some sick drawing on the walls.
really gets you in the mood of being in the underwater kingdom.

clear shot of Nemo.
:3

the picture of the starfish was really much hilarious!
the starfish be like: 'so sick of life.'
then there's the creature given the name 'underwater spider'.

jellyfishes.

seahorses!

lion fish.
:)

finally seen the mini tic tacs that i have only seen on Instagram and wondering where people get them.
nope, the price was too much.
:(

the next stop was the Cable Car within the Oriental Village.

managed to get a combo with not only the Cable Car ride but 2 shows, 1 at the Dome and the other 4D.

way up was breath-taking and scary at the same time.
and Yiun Shan pointed out the hills that looked like a face on the left.

being the typical tourist.

this is Mindy Loo, the one with most of the planning and our budget.
:D

from left: Kah Mei, Siek May and Yiun Shan.

Sky Bridge was under renovation therefore we couldn't experience walking on air.

you can imagine how windy it was by looking at the girls' hair.

last photo with the sun in our eyes.

then we went over to some docks and just lingered.
the place looked like Straits Quay but with more yachts.

*inserts deep quote*
thanks to Adrian Boo for his help on capturing.

and it was the beach!
more photos were captured with us jumping in the sunset in Y-Mun's camera.
:)

after a while, we decided to go to another beach further up where it is known to be the cleanest of all.

captured the last of the sunset with my favourite people in it.

and the sand was literally so fine it felt like powder.
enjoying a moment.

and soon, it was time to leave.

chilled at Starbucks with the rest of our budget cost till we almost missed our flight back.
they were already announcing those names who were yet on the flight when we were passing through security check.

last dinner together then it was off with our own holiday break for a month!

a toast to the holiday group that made the trip such an enjoyable yet memorable one.
:)
credits to: Yiun Shan's phone.

have a drink, clink, found the Bud Light.
