we go hideaway in daylight; we go undercover, wait out the sun.

 greetings from class.
well, of course not literally but that photo was really taken in my minor class.
x)
the tired face on a Monday.

i had an impromptu-planned day trip to Butterworth on Wednesday cause since Andy was having his day-off and he went back to his hometown.
so after class, i hitched the earlier bus down after class at 11 to the jetty and i was just in time for the arrival of the next ferry.
i reached Butterworth in time for lunch.

Andy was talking about this chicken rice store, Beng Huat Asam Fish Chicken Rice that serves Asam Fish Soup and was awesome.
and so i finally had the chance to try.
i have to admit, it was really delish despite me being extremely hungry.
i ordered an additional dish of salted pork.
still preferred the originality of roasted texture but the saltiness was the main reason i ordered.
x)
that was RM 22.40 in total.

next stop was the Penang Bird Park.
i don't remember the last time i've been here but what i do remember it was a long time ago.
time to relive our childhood because Andy too came here when he was young.

DISCLAIMER: i hope to not attach too many photos because it's a never-ending story.
xD
so many species of birds i tell you.

baby Emu.
:D

the owls.

and one baby one on the floor.
:/

the talkative duck i tell you.
kept on quacking non-stop that it sounded quite funny than annoying.

hello, Ostrich.
and no, that is not a middle finger and the ostrich is surprised for no reason.

an awesome white peacock and the normal one.

now for a word or two about the park.
the entrance fee was RM 23 for Malaysians but the cost wasn't put into good use.
the conditions that the birds were living in was below average.
the water was pure green as you can see.
who knows how long it was and what toxic substances lie within the waters.
D:
thus, a disappointing and hurtful sight.

we stayed behind for the bird show at 3.20 p.m. and it's really amazing how birds can be trained to do such tricks.
:D
and here is a photo of me with a bird.
x)

stopped by Sunway Carnival for a Spongebob movie again because there weren't new ones out yet and also to buy time since dinner was still a long way to go.
had Baskin Robbins after that because Pink Wednesday and i WAS wearing pink.
heee.
2 scoops: Cookie Dough and some Caramel flavour.

dinner was just as great as lunch.
here we have the Lekker Claypot House's claypot curry fish.
just as costly: RM 37+.

spent the rest of the night at Auto-City.

puppies up for adoption but the cages weren't really secured so...
anybody can just come and take them away?

crashed at B.E.D for a few drinks and that was a wrap of my one-day-trip in Butterworth.
:3
that itself was RM 50.

i suppose the next time i'm there, i think i'll be cafe-hopping instead.
x)
so exciting for another adventure.
thank you for bringing me around, brother bear.
:D

all we're looking for is love and a little light.
