guilt is burning, inside i'm hurting; this ain't a feeling i can keep.

so...
there was a month of semester break and what did i spend it doing?
going to work of course and relaxing no doubt.
:)
there always has to be a balance of both, no?
xD
and i really thought i should like earn when i can so i do not depend solely on other financial sources...
:/

besides serving, i too spent my time stamping mahjong papers with this.
which i completely enjoy, don't get me wrong.
xP
because it takes almost an hour stamping 50 pieces of paper and 10 rolls of them.

went Jump Street during Thaipusum after work with the Romeo and Juliet gang.
:D
p/s: group photo missing Gabriel.
:/

met Elizabeth Tan, the Youtuber musician during work.
:D
she was so tall, twice my height!
and she was just beautiful.
so awe by her beauty, really.
:X

met this lovey couple with the most cheerful baby girl ever (which i have forgotten what her name was. ><).
:D
heard from colleague the man is a pilot and the lady, an air-hostess.
:)
no wonder she was so tall as well.

Sushi for dinner with this Fafaro one evening after work as well and tried out some outfits.
haha.

MyFM radio station and also 8TV announcers turned up for tea.

the coconut ice-cream and juice next door tastes so refreshing.

the night i grabbed Chunky Fries for dinner because colleague somehow didn't turn up.
xD

sneaked a few shots on the cupcake promotion before Valentine's.
x)

mum dyed my hair again.
this time i chose a more prominent Violet Brown and told mum to pour everything inside since my hair is long and the colour might just stay even longer.
very much satisfied on the outcome because the colour was very obvious and pretty!

 11th February.
i remember a friend invited me on Facebook and i was feeling rather ambitious to just maybe pop by for the opening of Mansion 20.
and because i did not want to go alone, i called along a few colleagues whom lucky for them, were having an off day.

because the sea breeze complimented my hair.
xD

meet my companions: Pari (the Canteen Chef), Andy (the Jr. Assistant Manager), and Vincent (full-time waiter).

and so, i was the one looking ever so tired because i had work.
xD
i tried dressing up for the occasion despite the shoes.
the dress i wore that night has finally seen the light ever since gifted by Melissa Dewitt for my birthday around last year maybe?
:)

made them take a group photo with me.
:D
no regrets though they weren't really into taking photos.
 xP

the place had a garden on the outside and the interior was just as breath-taking.

well it turned out to be a bistro instead of my impression of a club.
nevertheless, there were free drinks and food.
but we only consumed the drinks because we had dinner before that, thinking they will not serve proper dinner.
BUT, we stand corrected when there was a buffet outside.

the whole ambience though.
:3

and then that was it.
x)
we decided to go somewhere else since the night was still young.
Zack, another waiter tagged along then.

ended up at RED Lounge and Karaoke and played darts.
started having Carlsberg then.

#clubvirginnomore .
and around 9.30 p.m., we dropped by Cuvee.
and since it was Wednesday, ladies go in for free.
:D
i was so excited, you cannot tell.

i got wasted that night.
i only remembered fragments and throwing up.
not a pleasant sight i know.

worked during Valentine's on a Friday.
it was cray, the whole place was filled with tables for 2.
:)
haha.

now isn't that an awesome doodle of a couple and also the one beside?
:)
it was part of the Noodle Cup Contest.

finally went out with love when he came back for a few days during Chinese New Year.
got us both Cartier inspired bracelets but sadly it kinda made my skin itch after almost a week of wearing and therefore i now keep it in the bag.

managed to finish the book in a week.
great week of a kid's book.
:O
second outing because there was KonJoe's birthday as well.

form 6 gathering barbecue at Stephanie's after work.
right before CNY.

 19th February.
it's the time to welcome the year of the goat!
i kinda wore an oversize Cheongsam (mind you it was from my grand aunt).
:)
but it was really the mood of Chinese New Year on that first day.

treated myself to a big dinner a few days before my last day of work.

and now for the awesome people that have been looking after me, that i have worked with and joked with and maybe currently attached to as family.
i humbly left work on the 1st of March.

Benji (who goes by many names in his different workplaces and has a hilarious way of laughing); Terence Tung (the poker and the tutter [he said he does finger-tutting] and basically the one i spend most of my shifts with ever since day 1.)
p/s: the one on the right still single though.
;)

 the kitchen crew.
who spends most of their time preparing both the customers' and the staff meals.
the food always smells so good when i'm supposed to deliver them to tables.
thank you for the joyful responses every time i enter the kitchen with an order.

the baristas: John, Chee and Kak Lynda.
always responsible for the making of drinks.
i salute how they are able to understand short forms of the fruit frappes and etc.
and i apologize when i have sent most of the drinks to different tables and didn't follow the sequence.
:X

another barista: Terrence and waiter, Adam.

Abang Syahrul (Manager) and Abang Rizal (the one in charge of Bon Ton Bistro, fine dining area).

Jim, the most hardworking waiter i have ever come across.
he does every shift without complaining and he always keeps his hands busy.

 Sam (cashier) and Miss Wendy.

Mr. Vincent (the one that interviewed me and hired me) and Mr. Lawrence, both managers who kept an eye out for me during work.
asking if i was alright and okay because i always look tired.
xD
and it was Mr. Lawrence's last day at work as well that day.

Shidi, the one who greeted me and assisted me to the front on my first day of the interview.
he is the one behind The Canteen's bar.

another Sam, chef of The Canteen and Bhaya.

Gabriel Lum, Jr. Assistant Manager who fails at smiling randomly and thinks i'm the most annoying person on Earth.

Abeh (which already means Abang in Kelantan language but i still called him Abang Abeh) and another Abang.
kinda forgot his name.

Kak Ayu (the cake cutter) and Kak Zizi (the very hot cashier with fabulous wavy hair and who is also my SGGS senior.)

Abang Syafiq (Jr. Assistant Manager) and Abang Mokthar (Supervisor).

the ones that are always amused by making fun of me.
not taking it in a bad way.
:D
haha.
Kevin (cashier) and Andy (Jr. Assistant Manager / my newly added big brother because of the times he feeds me supper as i was always hungry after work and a lot of other brotherly actions.)

last but no least, Vincent.
the one that has assisted me the most on my first day of work by bringing me around and introducing me to every single person to make me feel welcomed.
thanks for looking out for me as well that night after work.
you will be deeply missed by everybody that has come into contact with you.
:(

i remember a close friend telling me, always take different views of perception and this was what happened.
x)

and now, i'm back in uni for my second semester.
:)
i thank my lucky stars for bringing such awesome individuals into my life.
China House will be the latest enjoyable working experience up to date.

so blame it on the night.
