one day i was trippin and that's when I could see; that the ether that i tapped into could be reality.
so this is the first time in like after i finished my job at the company that i've woken up early.
not to mention on a Sunday, a day after i stopped work.
for a Heritage Cycling trip with schoolmates.
:D
this is the second time going for the Heritage thing, which the first time was around 2 years ago.
that one mainly done by foot.
i'll probably like rewrite that post since that one was lost in the previous blog.
and maybe a few others...
ANYWAYSS...
met up with friends at 7.30 a.m. at McDonalds and then we were off with 2 cars.
we had dim sum at the big coffeeshop at Sungai Pinang and then we parked somewhere near this bike shop.
because Wei Siang knows the uncle, we got it at a reasonable price for 9 people.
:)
the duel between the crow and the monkey.
and after we got our bikes, we head out on our Heritage journey.
:)
it was a Sunday so Beach Street was having their events.
we just cycled past but there was a lot of people.
a familiar name caught my eye.
managed to like see a few new stuff which wasn't there 2 years ago.
there's like a cafe built around this mural.
:)
didn't try what was sold there though but they did mention coffee.
yes, the huge cat that one of my senior colleagues mentioned but i didn't know at that time.
the cats made from rubber bands.
trail of cats leading to... just the end of the road.
first time i'm seeing a set.
filming in progress.
:3
didn't get to see the minion pole because the street was blocked.
and finally, i managed to get a taste of sucking Ice Balls.
:D
i have been like WANTING and CRAVING to try one of these because i heard mum talked about it.
but we never knew where to find.
i got the Ribena (Purple) and Rose (Red) flavour.
the most you can mix is 2 flavours unless you want to get the bigger ball.
:)
it was great for an extremely hot day like SUNday.
get it, get it?
our next stop to catch our breaths was The Safe House.
:)
my first thought was NITROGEN ICE-CREAM!
the room has this tree where lovebirds lock their love on.
and also a Guestbook on the table at the side.
i ordered the Honey Dew one and it was delish.
;)
the signature one is the coconut flavour which is served in a coconut but it was costly.
:/
but good dessert who can resist?
:P
after some delicious chicken rice for late lunch.
then we were on our way to the Made In Penang Interactive Museum.
we were here.
:D
then it was the 3D paintings upstairs.
nope, no realistic 'monkey' hanging.
x)
being all romantic and all.
;3
;3
then romance gone wrong.
xD
managed to experience what everybody have already experienced: 'hanging' for your life as our dear Spiderman watches on.
and being so tiny and all.
xD
stealing turtle eggs.
trying to eat a huge steaming prawn.
cue Justin Timberlake's 'Mirrors'.
look, i managed to flip the roti canai with just an umbrella.
;P
being bubbly under the sea and that Instagram frame.
:)
last but not least, having coffee with our Prime Minister.
x)
such a pleasure.
and then it was a casual ride across the road of Fort Conwallis and we stopped to rest at the playground.
caught this cute pup nicely sitting on the bike.
a proper group photo.
we had a great time.
:D
i sure did.
;)
despite ever being so tired, still went out for dinner with this boy of mine.
:))
thanks, love.
life's my light and liberty.
